Authentic cooking at its best! We loved our Bolivian cooking class at the fabulous Vizcacha Errante restaurant in La Paz, Bolivia. Starting with a tour of the local market and shopping for fresh ingredients gave us a real taste of Bolivian culture and cuisine.

John, Mayhara, and of course, mama in the kitchen patiently taught us how to chop, sauté, season, and prepare a delicious traditional Bolivian meal. They made the class fun, welcoming, and easy to follow, no matter your cooking experience. Sharing our meal together at the end, along with a glass of the homemade peach liqueur, Tarik’s, was the perfect finish to a wonderful experience.

If you’re visiting La Paz, don’t miss this class! It’s a fun, hands-on way to experience the heart of Bolivia, and one of our favorite memories from the trip. Salud!!!
